تب سنج کاپلا مدل TG8818N با وزن 180 گرم ،ابعاد بسته بندی 150.80.45 میلی متر ،جنس پلاستیک و صفحه LCD  میباشد.

منبع انرژی این دستگاه کاملا ساده و دو عدد باتری نیم قلمی میباشد و نوع آن ترمومتر دیجیتالی با حافظه ضبط   32 تب ،قابلیت خاموشی خودکار دارد و دارای دقت بالا با حداکثر خطای سنجش +-0/2 C است.

از سایر ویژگی های آن میشود به تنظیم دمای محیطی و بدنی،تفکیک رنگ LCD  بر اساس درجه حرارت به رنگ های زرد، سبز و قرمز جهت هشدار ،تغییر یکای سانتی گراد و فارن هایت و طراحی ارگونومیک آن اشاره کرد.
